Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 21, 2026

copyPastelino is a macOS clipboard history app designed with privacy in mind. This app works fully offline and does not use analytics, tracking, accounts, or cloud sync.

Data & copyPastelino

copyPastelino stores clipboard history locally on your Mac so the app can show recent copied items and let you select one to paste. This data is not sent to the developer or to any third party.

How your data is used

Clipboard history is used only to provide the app’s core functionality: remembering copied items, showing previews, and allowing you to paste a selected item.

Permissions

copyPastelino requires Accessibility and Input Monitoring permissions. These permissions are used only to detect the keyboard shortcut, let you cycle through clipboard history, and paste the selected item into the active app.

Network access

copyPastelino has no server component and does not transmit your personal data, clipboard history, or usage activity over the network.

Analytics and tracking

copyPastelino does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, third-party trackers, or profiling tools that collect personal data from users.

Data sharing

No clipboard data or personal information is sold, shared, rented, or disclosed to third parties by the app.

Data deletion

You can clear your clipboard history at any time from within the app. Since data is stored locally on your Mac, removing the app and its local data removes the stored clipboard history from your device.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
